Problem 2

The hospital bed is one of the most valuable central resources for the provision of services, due to its continued high demand and the economic impact it generates. The high disproportion between supply and demand is fundamentally conditioned by the concept of average hospital stay (EMH). This concept is used as an indicator of efficiency, because it summarizes the use of the bed and the agility of the services provided in hospitals. Knowing the EMH of patients is, therefore, a necessity. In this line, there are already average data for some pathologies, being somewhat more precise in surgical ones.  We propose the development of a predictive data tool that allows us to know the hospital discharge of patients undergoing surgery based on determining factors, for example: (Perform a bibliographic search that documents the analyzed factors that affect EMH to date).
