IV Smart Grid Congress documentation published.

Recently, the documentation that collects the contributions made during the IV Smart Grids Congress that was held in the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) on November 23 has been published. The event brought together more than 170 professionals who discussed the current and future of Intelligent Electrical Networks in Spain.

You can find in the following links the program of the congress, the Results Report or the Communications Book where the 35 interventions made in it are collected.

The Congress contemplated a wide variety of topics and formats, which allowed a holistic and innovative vision. The perspective of the Congress was that of the Smart Grids in Spain in its European context and was articulated on the following areas:

  • Automation and control in the electric network of transport and distribution.
  • Flexibility mechanisms: management of supply and demand and interconnection with other networks.
  • Distributed generation, microgrids and storage in Smart Grids.
  • The user in the Smart Grids: electric vehicle, smart buildings, smart meters and self-consumption.
  • Digitization: data management platforms, IoT, cybersecurity and blockchain.
  • Market design and evolution of the business model in Smarts Grids.
