Within the activities programmed within the framework of the G-NIGHT in Santiago de Compostela, on September 24, the exhibition "Successful cases of mathematical transfer to industry" will take place. This is an exhibition that highlights the value of mathematical technology transfer to industry and society.

14 success stories of mathematical transfer to industry, developed between 2013 and 2020 by ITMATI, currently integrated as an office of transfer of research results in CITMAga (Consortium Center for Mathematical Research and Technology of Galicia), which not only brings together the transfer of mathematical technology in Galicia but encompasses the entire scientific pole of mathematical research and transfer will be exhibited.

In the description of each panel (five in total) there are graphs and images that allow a simple understanding of the importance for society of the application in real life of scientific knowledge in the field of mathematics. The transversality of mathematics allows us to adjust to the needs of companies in any sector of activity.

Place: 18.00 hours in the "Xardín das Pedras que Falan" (Garden of the Fonseca School, in the "Zona Vella"), Santiago de Compostela. The exhibition will be permanent during the whole weekend; September 24, 25 and 26, 2021. Later it will move to another location in the South Campus (Campus Vida) in Santiago de Compostela: "Praza do Seminario de Estudos Galegos" (September 27-November 15, 2021).

The European Night of Researchers (G-NIGHT) is a scientific dissemination event held simultaneously in cities across Europe on the last Friday of September, in which ITMATI (Consortium Technological Institute of Industrial Mathematics) has also collaborated, currently integrated as an office of transfer of research results in CITMAga (Consortium Center for Research and Mathematical Technology of Galicia). The European Night of Researchers in Galicia is called G-NIGHT and seeks to bring the figure of the researcher and research in its benefits to society in general, paying special attention to scientific vocations. There will be specific spaces to talk about the European Union and its role in R+D+i.
