Goals

The IX Iberian Modelling Week will contribute to train students in Mathematical Modelling and stimulate their collaboration and communication skills, in an international environment. The main objectives are:

– To give students the experience and opportunity to work on mathematical modelling under the supervision of a specialised teacher.

– To give them the opportunity to tackle identical problems they may encounter in the market, as well as to develop their teamwork, critical thinking, rigour and scientific communication skills.

– To raise awareness among companies of the contribution that mathematicians can make to industry.
